that the vast majority of your friends and family who went to camp probably made one of life’s “big decisions” at camp?
They’re not alone, the overwhelming majority of people who attend camp each year make life decisions (the ones you don’t regret) while spending some time as a camper or as a counselor.
There is something special about camp.
Some have called it a “life speed bump” it’s a time where the change of pace gets our attention, slows us down and helps us focus on what is ahead.
We know you lead a busy life. We know what it’s like to juggle a hectic schedule. The Bible tells us that God speaks in a “still small voice”. It’s hard to hear Him with all of that commotion going on around you. Whispering Winds was put in (what feels like) the middle of nowhere on purpose, so God could get your attention.

Please Do Not Bring Dress Standard -Swimsuits: Girls - modest suits that cover the midriffs; Guys - boxer type trunks. -Resident campers may bring one dress-up outfit for Friday night. -For paintball war long sleeves, long pants & shoes.
What to Bring
-Bible and pen
-Clothing that complies with the dress standard
-Bedding and pillow,
-Toiletries, towels
-Jacket
-Swim suit
-2 Pairs of shoes
-1 Pair of shoes that can get wet
-1 Dark colored outfit that can get wet or dirty, flashlight, eyeglass safety strap, snack shop and missionary offering money
-FOR Paintball bring long sleeves, long pans and shoes.
-Please label belongings
-All Wilderness Camp program participants will receive a special packing list
-Fireworks
-Personal electronic devices (games, cell phones, audio equipment)
-Firearms
-Unbecoming language
-Alcohol
-Tobacco
-Illegal Drugs
-Clothing must be neat and modest. Shorts, skirts and dresses are to be no shorter than the lower thigh. Shirts with sleeves are preferable with no bare midriffs or spaghetti straps. Clothing must not display or promote alcohol, tobacco, vulgarity or secular bands.
Camper Contact Campers do not have access to the phone or computers. Please put your child’s name on the subject line. Do not e-mail cards. Lost and Found. Lost and found items will be kept for 2 weeks. Requested items will be shipped at your cost.
